bankroll managment/ new to 2+2

Hi,
im new to 2+2 forum, i signed up becouse i feel that 2+2 forum will help me building my bankroll and becoming a better player.

i made my first deposit to pokerstars end of feb 2007, my deposit was $25, and now i am up to $116 playing cash games 0.02/0.05 0.05/0.10 and sometimes 0.10/0.25 and also SnG $5+0.5 and a few times $10+1.

i dont play everyday i play like 7 hrs a week sometimes less.

i would like to know when can i constantly play the 0.10/0.25 game becouse the buy-in there is about 20% of my bankroll and i dont think its a good idea to do that.

and also what is the best level to play at currently with my $116?

and if its good idea to play multitable tournements with more thrn 1000 players? i played 2 times and i finished both times in the money but didnt win alot only doubling my buy-in

thanks for the advice
regards,
kimos

I think the standard is 20 buy-ins, so you're rolled for 0.02/0.05.

I used to play MTTs as well but switched to cash because the money is more consistent. Playing for hours and not cashing or cashing very little sucks.

It really depends on what exactly you are looking to do. The standard line of thought as stated above is 20 buyins for a given level. Most of the players here actually prefer a lot more than that I think anywhere from 30-50 buyins. However, if you are just looking to play for fun a few hours a week and its not going to effect your real life if you go broke and have to redeposit you could probably play a given level with 5-10 buyins
