I lost $25000 on a putt

I'm not concerned about losing the cash but I think I made a terrible price. Opponent is a poker pro. The putt is 60-65 feet. Breaks maybe two feet. Greens are in normal condition. Golfer in question shoots maybe 85, putts ok. God this line is so bad I can hardly write it. 25-1 at $1000.

Does anyone have a feel for a decent line? It was an action bet. I was going for something close to EV neutral. Keep in mind that a PGA tour pro is about 25% from twelve feet and about 12% from 30 feet (though those stats are from a normal round; they're not trying to max their prob of making the putt).

I think this was pretty close to a fair line. I would never lay those odds but I don't think it's that bad.

UHHHH being an under 3 handicap at one point this seems like a neutral ev bet at best although from this length luck is half the battle

im a scratch golfer, against even good players i think this is neutral if not plus ev, 20 yards is a [censored] long putt. if i were u i would take this pretty much all day and cake, you could probly talk him to 20-1 and buy a lemonade stand, beach chair and a hooker and never have to move another foot in your life living off of his money.
