Outlook question

Quick question:

How do I send out an email to many people using Outlook, without any of the messages displaying the addresses?

For example, I would like the listed address to state something like "contacts."

I see this being done all the time, but I've never know how.

I don't know much about Outlook, but you're looking for the feature called "bcc:". It stands for "blind carbon copy".

Maybe check the outlook help files with that hint.

Re: Outlook question

I am not sure if you can use a distribution list to name all of your addresses one thing and hide the individual address. BCC will hide all of the addresses and the "To" line will be blank.

Re: Outlook question

After you click New message, look on the View menu and make sure "Bcc field" is checked. Put your destination email addresses/distro list into the Bcc field.

Re: Outlook question

simple answer: type in "distribution list" in the "help" window.

Set up a distribution list and then enter them in the BCC of the email. This should take less then 5 minutes.
