Overbet shove or check behind?

28$ on turn, call shove. You're very likely best but you don't neccesarily want to fold out Jx hands that are drawing, you just want to price them out and cause them to make a mistake by calling. Shoving makes it too easy for these hands to play correctly.

The overbet shove is not in my arsenal but I don't think its a good idea here. What would call it that you beat? I would try to get more out of them instead of checking behind and bet about half the pot or a little more.

And fold to any river bet if a 7, 6, J, Q and maybe even 8 fall?

And the point was maybe checking behind was in case QJ/67/88 are out

I don't like this. There are plenty of other hands out there that you would be letting draw for free and losing value from. Gotta bet IMO. And larger than half the pot, as was suggested before. This will give villains near the odds they need if they are drawing to 8 outs. Little less than full pot.

Fire turn normal close to pot, don't do fancy plays at NL50.

If villain was prone to call the push pushing is obvious then? I didnt intend to inquire about bet sizing, I am happy pushing as long as it's not showing too much recklessness towards the hands that beat us. Someone above said call a push anyway so nevermind I guess. Thanks for the replies.
