edit: I remembered reading that the NHL has the highest of the 4 major american sports because of the sub rules during play stoppage. Apparently, the NBA wins.

Home team win % for last full season before 2/2007:
MLB: 54%
NFL: ~59%
NHL: 57%
NBA: 63%

Basketball seems to have a fairly pronounced home-court advantage too, but I'd lean towards hockey as well

i'd guess college has a bigger home field advantage than pro's, but i couldn't give you an exact reason.
