Foxwoods MegaStack tourney - 30,000 starting chips

I just saw on the Foxwoods site they are hosting a MegaStack tournament with 30,000 chips and 40 minute blind levels. The buy-in is going to be $3,000 total.

This is just awesome, as I love deep stack tournies, lots of post-flop action. Has anybody played in these type of tournies, how long they typically last... How many players do you assume will play. It'll be the largest buy-in tournament for me but I think I'll play comfortably as the stacks are huge, and I won some money online so it's basicallly a freeroll. Should be great fun.

It looks like a very interesting structure for a ONE day deep-stack event:

1.$2800+$200 buy-in
2.$30k in starting chips
3.40 minute levels
4.Blinds start @$25-50
$50-100
$100-200 + $25 ante
$200-400 + $50 ante
10 Minute Break
....and so on

The blinds WILL BE escalating quite fast ,for this type of tourney to be completed in ONE day. There are also a number of qualifying satellites for this event as well.

I wonder what the player count will be?
Any thoughts?

I hear that the locals expect ~100 people, so that 1st will pay ~100k.

Early favorites in the betting pool seem to be Ronnie, the Caveman, John the Lawyer, or the blonde gal who just won the Ladies Tourney there in March.
