Me and Brad L are currently in the second day of a 5 week trip to Europe. Here are the beats and brags in chronological order so far. Skip to the bottom if you get bored.

Beat: I booked my flight out of New Jersy and he booked his flight (correctly) out of New York. The flight out of New York happened to be full when we got to the airport.

Variance: I was somehow able to get a seat.

Beat: I thought Brad was bringing money and he thought I was bringing money and we ended up with only being able to get 4k on a few hours notice, with no easy way of getting more money while we are here.

Beat: I left my coat containing all our money for the trip our connecting flight boarding pass, and our passport at the security checkpoint.

Variance: It was still there an hour later untouched.

Beat: Got stuck next to some guy on the flight over who pwned my armrest and I also spilled a bottle of wine on my new shirt.

Beat: Missed our connecting flight because we went to the wrong terminal.

Beat: Our luggage went on a third, later flight, so we got there an hour later than we planned on and had to wait another hour for our luggage to come.

Beat: The hotel that I knew and stayed at last year, which I did not make reservations for because I knew it wouldn't be full, was closed for remodeling. Sucks to look forward to a hot shower and instead have to keep walking to find another habitable place.

Degeneracy: Last night, Brad can't sleep so I tell him to take all 4k of our money and go to the Aviation club to play poker. He sits down with 15 bets in an 80/160E mixed game. If we lose that money we are totally screwed and don't even have a way to pay for the hotel we are staying at.

Brag: He wins 8k and we feast on crossants and Cristal while beret wearing frenchies eat their bread crumbs and table wine.
