How Do I Build A \"Poker\" Resume?
Hey all, I'm trying to get a job/internship doing write-ups for live coverage at the WSOP this year, and would like some advice on how to insert my poker experience into a resume applying for this position. I vaguely recall parts of the Cardplayer application last year about a writing sample or two, like a player interview and a final table hand-for-hand transcript. The interview I can do, and I figure I can transcribe some televised tournament if need be.
Here are some things that may be relevant: - Two televised final table appearances - Run local tournaments for 2+ years - Moderator on a poker forum - Poker documentary appearance - Keep a poker blog of original articles I know that's not too impressive, but any other advice? |

The writing samples will make or break you. Focus on those. |
