Calling all Dirty Electro House / Tech House / Ed Banger fans!
 

OK folks,

My mix - Bangers 'N' Mash, and i promise this ones a scorcher. Im inspired by the french electro house of the likes of Daft Punk etc, and have thrown this together on Ableton Live 6. Thought id show my style of mixing and whats been exploding in clubs in the past 6 months.

Basically an hour of stuff that your parents would disaprove of.

Theres a Justice - Phantom remix that your going to love, it will be on the next one... he is very good (i just have so many tunes at the minute that cant fit all the tunes in.. more mixes will come in the future!)

Im just looking for feedback really, see if people like the groove..

Before I download this and get pissed at it. Is this electro, tech, or minimal? I'm [censored] tired as hell of all the minimal house BS in Europe that everyone calls tech house, which isn't even close to tech house and is even less close to electro.

futureproducers.com is a forum, for producers/djs etc. I'm not sure if it'll be your thing or not, at the moment basically everyone on there is into hip hop, however there is a small electro community on there as well. Actually it's aimed more at those who create their own music rather than djs, but maybe you'd find it interesting.

I mean i like SOME minimal.. It is uber cool at the minute and i have seen quite a few minimal acts in Sankeys, and one in fabric..but i think in manchester especially, the minimal tech peeps are really into 'posing' and dont really get the whole club vibe. When im in a club i just want to get really wrecked and throw some shapes lol.

To be fair though, i really do like songs that have a 'full' sound- with lots of bleeps, clicks, pops etc (which some minimal has).. i think the only thing missing with minimal is the oppurtunity for a decent drop.
