i think 1 is fine. what are stack sizes in 2 and 3? 4 jesus christ raise the turn. [/ QUOTE ] hand 2 we are $340 deep.. the rest are 200 eff. i didnt raise hand 2 for that reason mainly.. too deep to get called by worse and too deep to lose that much wiht 1 pair. raising hand 1 is horrible... for very obvious reasons |
Re: a bunch of hands from a tough session : 200NL regs
hand 1 meh, looks fine
hand 2 looks alot like a 88-99 type hand realising he is behind and trying to blow you away. could be 1010 as well which would be a cooler, or a busted fd. bottom line i think i call that river. hand 3: I c behind on the turn hand 4: raise that turn jesus |
Re: a bunch of hands from a tough session : 200NL regs
hand 1: standard
hand 2: standard hand 3: horrible turn bet hand 4: lalalraise the turn to something not retardedly small |
Re: a bunch of hands from a tough session : 200NL regs
i agree hand 3 was retarded.. i figure he would give up if i had him beat but raise all in if he had me beat.. but J clubs makes the bet even more stupid.
hand 4 say i raise to 70 do i call his push for 100 more? yes? seems like i can play it better by calling..unless im willing to get it all in on the turn which i think i will be behind his range if this happens.. |
Re: a bunch of hands from a tough session : 200NL regs
Hand 1: Raise the river for god's sakes. He never has AT.
Hand 2: I probably shove the turn fairly often, given his bet size. Your line is okay. Hand 3: check back the turn for sure sometimes pick him off on the river, sometimes don't Hand 4: Raise/call the turn. Don't let him draw cheap on this board. He most likely has a pair with the straight draw or a bare pair of queens, if he has two pair, you have decent outs, and he'll pay off with KQ/AQ etc all day. You have to call the shove though, because he can't really just call, with stacks the way they are. Hand 5: I don't slowplay two streets often, but this isn't a bad board for it. Hard to represent a bluff/semi-bluff here, and I dunno if he gives you action or not. He'll keep betting his big pairs, and maybe fire three barrels, though. He might hit a pair on the river, or two pair or trips with the J, which would be nice. |
