Re: NL100/200 and some folds

Hand 1 what would he do with AQ? If he doesn't raise it fine, fold. If he does I'd call and lead turn and fold to a raise.
Hand 2 I call; I induced a bluff by checking behind I think and his river bet doesn't feel like it wants callers.
Hand 2 OK though I don't mind a call so much and might prefer folding flop to the current line.

I think these are all pretty diciplined folds. You hate to dump the first hand but the min raise certainly looks strong.

Here is a post I read last night that I think sums up these types of strong folds, especially the last two hands. I can't say it any better.

Re: NL100/200 and some folds

1 and 3 are probably good folds (it would help to knwo their AF)

the 2nd hand I would probably bet like 25 on the turn and see what he does...

btw you raised more with AK than KKs? and if I were you I would raise like 5 or 6 bbs to make sure they understand I have a big hand (I know why would I wana do that but thats how I play) but I play the same way with AK/AQs JJ/1010 in LP....

the way you played the second hand he could easily be putting you on AK on the other hand nits dont usually bet the pot on the river unless they have better than a pair....

so you could have lost an extra 25 but would know for sure if you were beat IMHO

Re: NL100/200 and some folds

I don't think I can fold KK in hand 2.....

No where has he let you think you are beat.

He called PF, he called the flop. You then showed that you are weak and checked the turn so he PSB's the river and you fold??? with an overpair??

I think your line is way too weak if you will just give up with an over pair against this type of opponent just because they called your CB

Re: NL100/200 and some folds

I like all three.
Hand 1 - I doubt he plays AQ like that, he may not even play AQ there to begin with. Looks like a set to me
Hnad 2 - I would sometimes call river but I think the fold is alright. If he does only have one pair he isn't betting the river there and there isn't any reasonable draws on the flop that he could be bluffing. A 7/4 nit isn't creative.
Hand 3 - Again ABC nit, I like it. I would just fold the flop most of the time actually.
