TPGK + 2nd flush draw in multiway pot
 

1/2NL live home game. Effective stacks of $300. 8 players.

There is a live straddle to 5. I'm in the CO w/ K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], every1's called the straddle so far, so I call too. Turns out to be a family flop.

Flop (8-way, $40): 10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

3 checks, then next guy bets out 15, guy after him calls.

The guy who lead out into the flop is a very tricky, aggressive player, known to make moves with almost any 2, but likes to call down with monsters and make big bets/raises on the river. Most of his smaller bets are designed to either induce a bluff or as a feeler bet.

Guy who called after him is somewhat tight, I put him on a FD or maybe an OESD.

What's my plan at this time? What should I do if the next card completes the diamond draw? What if it's a brick? What if it's a scare card? (8, 9, Q, or A)

call.
if you hit obviously do whatever it takes to get it in.
if you don't. your hand still has showdown value, but is still losing a fair amount of the time so get to a showdown if it is cheap.

If you were to tell me the first two responses to this thread were from battletoads+ bottomset these are the exact responses I would've envisioned.

Since it's live and mostly friendly I'd probably just call. Online (like there would ever be an 8 way pot) I'd raise and call a push.

I think you should raise. You want tricky to define his hand further (preferably with a fold) and tighty to fold a flush draw.

Bet $100 - slightly over pot-size. If tricky pushes and tighty folds then call and hope tricky has JT or Qd9d (if you are confident tricky folds JT or worse here then you can just about fold to the push). If tricky pushes and tighty calls then fold. If tricky folds and tighty calls then it's hard to put him on a hand now- possibly a passively played AdQd.

I don't like calling here after tighties call since:
(i) you will sometimes lose your stack to the better flush
(ii) you will sometimes call a reasonable turn bet drawing dead

Raise preflop, raise the flop for value.

Thanks for the responses all. It seems most people's concensus is to raise it up, which is exactly what I did. I knew that when the tight player called, he must have some sort of a draw, and I wanted to charge him for it. Plus, there might be others in w/ draws also, and I wanted to charge them.

4 checks, tricky bets 15, tighty calls 15, I raise to 90, Button, SB, BB, and UTG all fold. UTG+1 cold-calls 90, tricky folds, tighty calls 75 more.

At this point, I'm putting UTG+1 on some sort of a combo draw and tighty on a flush draw, maybe the nut flush draw.

Turn (3way, $325): 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG+1 leads out for 150, tighty goes allin for 200 total. What do I do?

I will made easy call here could be 1 of them with TT trip other Ad J.
good odd for call like this if river pair the board or the 4th d then be it. But I really think your 2nd Nut is the best hand right now.
