Lucky You
 

Has anyone been seeing the advertisements for a new movie called "Lucky You"? It looks to be about a poker player although it might be a little bit of a chick flick. I don't think it's out yet but it struck my curiosity.

Obviously not big parts, but they be in the movie, pretty cool.

It's not out yet and might never come out. It was supposed to be released two years ago and has been delayed at least seven or eight times. If it is in fact released, it will surely be terrible.

No they are advertising the heck out of it in the midwest --- it's definitely coming out and in a few weeks I think. The female lead is Drew Barrymore.

Without even imdb'ing, this reeks of that horrendous film "Forget Paris" starring the deplorable Billy Crystal. The previews promoted it as a movie about a basketball ref with a bunch of cameos by NBA players, but the flick itself ended up being some terrible chick flick. With Billy Crystal. Some chick is into goddamned Billy Crystal. Right.

Anyway, I predict this film will be about forty-five seconds of named poker pro cameos and about two hours too many of relationship tug-o-war. Don't do it.
