5.50 TT re-raise all in here w/ the overlap?

The raiser has been playing a lot of hands, so there is a big range here. How good or bad is this play here?

Does anyone like a call here, with the intention of leading it out on a safe-ish flop?

Why no raise preflop?

Seems pretty standard, especially with your read

Maybe if SB was deeper....but even then with the extra large raise from the raiser, there is a decent chance he has some smallish pocket pair and if we push, it's our best chance to get it all-in now. I would rather try to drive out the raiser and compete HU against the SB.

I don't like anything but a fold here as played.

There is also a huge difference between playing a lot of hands and raising a lot of hands. Even if villains limping 100% that isn't really reason to put him on a wide range when he raises every once and a while.

I would suggest making a standard raise from late position and playing it from there.

Yeah you're definetly right Kevin.

I get fed up when I play hands vs. people who play too many hands and try to make hero pushes with TT when its a race at best. Im terrible at sngs

Raise it up yourself. As played I will push if BTN has been pretty LAG.

At this stage and earlier I limp pocket pairs TT and lower for set value only (unless its already short handed, which is rare). Against this villain I feel my hand is good against his range, so instead of calling and seeing a flop I pushed instead. Probably horrible, but I thought my read was good.

Why aren't we raising pf? Once the blinds get to 25/50 I start raising with 99+, AJ+, KQ+ in lp with 1 limper. I raise wider then you do at this level and tighter in the first 2 levels, I guess it's all preference...I don't like playing TT for set value since a standard raise is a huge percentage of my avg. stack at this level plus hands like this go up in value at a shortened table. If you think villain will raise a wide range A9+, KT+, QJ, 66+ then a shove is ok. As played I fold.
