100/200 Facing Another River C/R

People love to c/r me for some reason.

Villain is way to loose, a little too aggro. I think he views me as fairly LAG, but we don't have much history.

BB ($18411)
Hero ($25292)

Preflop: Hero is Button with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Hero raises to $600, BB calls $400.

Flop: ($1200) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks.

Turn: ($1200) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB bets $800, Hero calls $800.

River: ($2800) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $2400, BB raises to $6200, Hero

seems like an easy fold, you beat air...is villian capable of checkraise bluffing on this type of board?i wanna say this looks like 56 or an 8 hoping youdd fire river

Jman,

can you exlain your thought process on the flop and turn a little before we get to the river?

fk me... i prob fold again. he could have missed sd, fd and if he knows you v. bet thin he might c/r you there but im not sure. but to justify a call your bet looks like slowplayed flop hand, K or a very thin value bet. and if you AK, KQ you'd prob bet flop so he might think your on total air and try c/r you, however i think people would lean toward playing and 8 like that v. you so i'd fold.

The short answer is, I have FPS.

The long answer is that he wasn't going to c/c flop with much. He would fold or raise. When he raises (which he will pretty light) the hand gets very sticky for me, so I wanted to keep the pot under control while disguising my hand.

I still bet this flop with TT 80% of the time prolly.

if you ever call a checkraise with this type of hand, this is the place to do it I think.

dumb LAG opponent + drawy board + basically minraise river which they love to do with total crap...yeah I probably wouldn't call this in an actual game but I kinda want to.

Oooooh. Didn't consider pushing. That has some merits. He's repping like 99/KT. Hmmmmm.

I think I don't like it, but I don't totally hate it. I just don't know what I can really rep.
