Blog help - tracking hits

Hey,

A friend of mine and I have made a blog (mostly for fun) that takes headline news stories and turns them into haikus.

We have been getting a lot of hits but have no idea how to check to see where the hits are coming from. As in, is our site being linked to by others etc.

Its on blogspot, any ideas?

If anyone is interested in reading it, the link is deleted i did the link in white, so that it wouldnt be considered spam.

Thanks!

Cute. Perhaps Google Analytics would help you track traffic.

Google analytics is good, or you could move it to wordpress which has pretty good built in tracking stuff. You can also set up your feed through feedburner, although this will only help you track people reading your feed from a news reader and not browsing to your blog directly (although I think they have some tools for monitoring your actual blog as well). This also may not help for people that have already subscribed to your old feed.

An excellent free tracker is from www.statcounter.com , I currently use it on my blog and it gives you a whole host of information about the visitors to your blog i.e.:
What page they came from, what search ewngine they used to find you, which country they are from and a lot more. Don't think you can knock it for free.

Hope this helps
