New HP Laptop Pop-Up problem...Please Help?
 

Hi Guys,

I bought a HP laptop a few weeks ago and i keep getting a pop up wanting me to register my new computer. I registered it a few times now but it keeps coming up. Is there anything i can do?

Also, is it normal for the fan to come on every 30 seconds or so?

hi, disable the program from running when the computer starts.

Go to start, programs, startup and see if its there. if now type in regedit in the run dialog and search under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run

or you can just load task manager and end the task and then search for the program and delete it.

Call Support -you will get a nice guy like me -it prob the Reg from Hp - its so that your warrenty will start and they can verify your lagit when you call - cause you get 24hr support for a YR - ITs a good deal with HP say your NB breaks down for some reason you call it in and they will send you a Fedex box - and pay for the shipping and repairs for free -
