Moves on battling players
 

$5 - $10 blinds $500-$1000max NL .. This is at Oceans 11 casino with lots of deep LIVE, loose aggro players. We've also been playing with a straddle for the last 2 hours and I've noticed that the same few players have been bumpin uglies for some time already, involved in pots with each other..

My question..Do you get involved occasionally if you've sold your image as a SOLID player to find opportunities to bluff/steal medium sized pots from battling players?

My stack is deep at $4700. There are 4 other players with about the same at $4000+ that have watched me showdown monsters often..

I apologize for not being very specific..I'm just looking for some general responses and if anyone has any interesting stories, bluffng scenarios, timing etc..

'bumping uglies' means to have sex. i'm guessing that's not what you mean. but yes. this spot comes up very often in BN/CO vs. SB/BN battles and you're in the SB/BB. I make moves on these guys pre- and post-flop all the time. The best moves are more subtle ones. Like in your case if CO opens to $50 and SB makes it $200, I would make it $500 in your position. That looks 100% like AA. Maybe a little more because you're deeper. But I wouldn't make some BIG move, because that looks like you might be trying to buy it and just asks them to screw up their courage to bluff you. Another great move in that spot is cold-calling in the BB with trash and then leading out big on the flop.
