WSOP Limit Hold\'em Event on DVD
 

I'm looking for a copy of a telivised wsop limit event that was on espn a few years ago. I think it was during the '04 or '05 series. Is that included in the '04 dvd and did they even make an '05 dvd? I'll actually settle for any televised limit event. I just think it would be interesting to watch a limit tourney. Thanks.

Or maybe one of the party poker million events, didn't they broadcast one of those on the wpt a few years back?

The inaugural Party Poker million (that Liebert won) was filmed by the travel channel and that is available on the torrent sites. The 2003 & 2004 PPM's were WPT events and those are in the WPT season 1 and season 2 dvd sets respectively.

Okay great, I'll check those out, thanks. Does anyone else remember that WSOP event though or am I taking crazy pills? They guy that won was a large fellow who was buddies with David Williams I think.

Yeah, I watched that when it aired couple years ago or so.

I don't know if this helps, but I believe the "large fellow" you are referring to is Thomas "Thunder" Keller.

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the Eric Frollich or whatever his name is event.

Yeah, I looked into it and it was Eric Froehlich that won that limit event and it was in '05 which I guess ESPN didn't put a DVD out for. "Thunder" won a no-limit event the year before.
