Hand from 500k, Ansky says it\'s spewing

OK, like 550 left and 400 make money. Blinds 300/600. I have a stack of 12k in the BB and it is the hand before break. 10k is average stack. Folds to UTG+2 and he raises 3XBB to 1800 with 10k left behind him. I have 77 in BB and I push.

Reads:
1) he's playing a tight aggressive game (around 15/10/2). 2) My only previous hand with him went like this: I had JT in late position, he calls in blinds. Flop comes KJ, I bet 1/2 pot, he calls. J comes on turn...I bet 1/2 of pot, he calls. River is blank and he donks 2k into an 8kish pot with 5k left behind him. I push my last 6k and he folds; he claims to have a king. So...he's capable of laying down hands (whether I believe him or not) in huge pots.
3) His name contains 'Pwns'

Am I a donkey for attacking another middle stack right before break?

I'm not really a fan of pushing my stack with 77 into a UTG+2 raise.

What will he fold here? 88-JJ and AQ<?

What range do you think he'll call/fold?

You have too many chips to be doing this imo, but I'd like to hear your thinking

OK, my thinking is...I think he folds everything except QQ-AA and even AK I think he would have trouble calling here for all his chips. He's a solid aggressive player and from playing with him for almost two hours I think he is capable of laying down anything but a monster.

My table image is also extremely tight (I've been card dead for a while). My last push into a raise (from button) I showed AK. I don't even think I've showed down a hand yet, but I'm sure he recognizes how tight I've been playing.

Also, psychologically he's a medium stack in good shape right before a break.

"OK, my thinking is...I think he folds everything except QQ-AA and even AK I think he would have trouble calling here for all his chips" this is puuuure fantasy. There are better ways to win this pot then pushing preflop. call and play poker on the flop.

i also think it's spewing. it's too big of a push for one, it doesnt look normal, it's goign to cause suspiscion, not what you want, but anyway, 15/10 is pretty tight, and he's in EP, i dont see why you think his range is wide enuogh that you can do this.

Yea, I think a call is much better in retrospect.

I was UTG + 2 that hand.
I called for a couple reasons,
1) I didnt think you would play AA KK that fast.
2) I was willing to take a risk at that point to build a stack.
3) You pushed me off my king earlier so somewhere in the back of my head I wanted to beat you in a hand :P

4) And you're smart enough to know that a reraise AI from BB is desperate, especially if you two are heads up. Good read and good call.
