3 folds at NL400. What do you think?

BB ($876.15)
UTG ($1035)
MP ($325)
CO ($344)
Hero ($536)
SB ($512.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Reads: Villain was 16/9 over 98 hands, but alot of these hands were 3 handed. I was pretty much raising every hand when 3 handed and him and another player just kept folding. Does anyone ever do this with AK or JJ? I think I'm up against AA/KK a ton, but there is a ton of dead money in the pot. This was a tough one for me.

Villain is 24/17 over 97 hands. He is a multitabler who just sat in on a couple of my tables. Seems solid. I haven't seen him get out of line. The only thing I beat here is air, right? After he bet the turn and checked the river, I was pretty sure he had a AJ, AT type hand. We haven't tangled much so it would be foolish for him to turn these made hands into bluffs. Fold?

Small bet/3 bet minraise is almost always the nuts or very close to it so I folded. Villain was 36/13. Is this a worse J ever? I didn't think so.

I think you're getting too good of odds to fold on hand 3.

First hand is really standard. You are flipping or dominated, and even though this player might be frustrated by your aggression, it doesn't warrant playing for stacks with QQ.

Second hand is pretty tough.
"it would be foolish for him to turn these made hands into bluffs"
Apparently not because you folded two pair. Still, I think this is AQ a lot. While this is a good place to bluff for villain, I think that most players (especially multitabling autopilot players) do not do this often enough. Still, 400 NL is where you might start to see thinkers that can do this. I think this hand could warrant its own thread, but the short answer is that I fold and think it can be close with a read.

Third hand, yes, I like the fold. Villain is milking you and maybe he is terrible with a straight, but you are still behind that. Again a high level thinker could really start owning you here but unlike the second hand I think there is little chance that villain is one of those so just give it up.

How often does villain do this with a worse hand? How many outs do we have against a better hand?
