Beat: LOST A LOT

Started 1.5 months ago at 1-2 NL with 400 bucks.

Withdrew around 5500, Had 4600 at my account, 1100 at neteller.

I play 2-4 NL. I am a student, so thats nice money. 2 days ago got on a downswing and my account drop to 2300. Instead of moving to 1-2, I moved to 5-10 and started playing real tight aggressive. With 55, bumped into 88 at flop J85(2 diamonds), allin at flop lost 1000. (BTW 1 year ago similar to that move I mad a move to 5-10 and got set over set at flop again so it may be my fckn destiny). So now I had around 1300, dumped the 1100 neteller immediately and move to 10-20 (you know the feeling), and lost all with another cooler.

Other day I dumped 1500 with instacash and lost of course with tilt state of mind.

Now for the last 1.5 months, I am still up like 4000 dollars playing 1-2 and 2-4 NL (BTW not more than 9 or 10k hands) but losing that kind of money in 2 days. U know how I feel.

I am giving a break for at least 1 week which is best now. And i think starting again with 500 bucks at 1-2 NL. But what else do u suggest? Did u ever have these kind of times and what u did and how it turned out.

Seems a little conservative to me, you could play 2/4 and still have money off the table.

Get the hell out of BBV unless shot commencing begins.....and by that I mean obvioulsy buying in for 500 at 5/10 and becoming robusto within 30 minutes.

I had a similar situation and have never recovered. Thank god for bonus whoring in the past. Post Legistlation Limit Hold'Em completely destroyed me.

Im serious.

Because of LHE I cannot sleep at night. I have nightmares about the game. God save me.

is it the murphys law that i get set over set when I move to 5-10 after a downswing. biggest lesson to everyone is never move up when u are losing, move down. but its almost impossible to do in real life with that kinf of mindset

generally you should move up to a point where you can buy in for your entire roll.. This way- when you get a good hand- you have cash ready to double up.

guys quit limit poker. I understood thats the best after wasting 1 year of my life. At NL u have a chance to break the game but at limit, nobody but house wins all at the end.
