Saturday in Detroit
 

Okay, I'm strongly considering taking a drive to Detroit in Saturday to play some poker. Who's around and what can you tell me about my ability to get a 20 game going?

You won't get one going at Motor City. I'm not sure if Greektown still spreads their 20-40 round by round game anymore, but I haven't heard of a hold 'em only game that high going in a long time there.

otter is always right, but the 10/20 game is still a good game,,it has a tough time staying open late at night but still filled with morons...sad to say that NL fest tables are taking over ...i will be down there sat. morning....looking to get on the 10/20

Two quick Detroit questions, so might as well throw them in here:

does greektown still have timed rake at the NL 1/2?
Any difference in the NL 1/2 between greektown and motorcity?

Yes Greektown still charges $6 every half hour.. i think motor city charges $1 extra per rake?? i will be at greektown and motor [censored] on saturday... as well.. lemme know if u would like to meet up for a cocktail!!

Well, I'll probably call both during the drive up. I'll play the round by round game. Hopefully no one will have open sores on their arms at my table.

motor city just recently switched there 1/2 nl game to a rake on every hand...same as playing 5/10 limit,,,there was a thread for a new 10/20 NL i think..they have 1/2 $ 50-$200 buy in,,$200-$500 nl $ 300 min NL and $500 Nl?? i think is 10/20 blinds..oh..and they are doing some sit-n-go tourneys on their computer poker pro tables....some smaller cash games as well...

hey mark,,,there are alot of tourneys out in lansing now, and i see they are playing some limit at Trippers....have you been to any of those???

You can get a 1/2 NL game going on the PokerPro at Greektown...They SAY they will spread any game on them but i'm not sure how many 10/20 players would play on it...
