Me and registrar disagree: Limp-calling with suited connector

No reads on villain, since he sat down 3 hands ago and hasn't played a hand. I raised and took it down from the CO once, so nothing to go on for him either.

One more piece of info: the table is tight, with very few resteals. PF raises often take it down.

What's your play here and why?

(reg, cool if you don't say anything at first ok )

I fold. You are getting a terrible price and button has just about commited himself.

OK. This is what I wrote when reviewing the HH.

This is Party, be aware.

"I’d be very tempted to call here. 6200 to call to see a flop with 20k in the pot. It could be a squeeze and we’re going to know exactly where we stand on the flop. I think in some ways it’s an unnecessary risk but I don’t mind dropping to 50k here whereas 90k+ is absolutely gold at this table"

I then went onto say something about how villains hate playing flops and we don't gt stacked here very often whereas he does every time and he might check and, all in all, I'd be sore tempted to call.

I'll take a shot here...

so the usual 3 options...

1. Fold - Your OOP and know nothing about the villain, seems fine
2. Call - Seems pretty bad, if villain was deeper you could represent a set on the flop or turn. But villain is not deep enough to play for set value, so it's hard to represent that hand here.

3. Raise - XXX EDIT - thought we were the 1st limp

Is there any other considerations here, money bubble, etc?

Fold is fine,

What about calling and playing this as a stop and go?

Can't raise allin. You are the second limper and he is getting good pot odds to call.

Re: Me and registrar disagree: Limp-calling with suited connector

Stop-n-go is for when your desperate. Hero is not desperate.

As 2nd limper/caller hero is not representing any kind of strength and villain is likely to have TT/JJ with the slight overbet. He is not going to let it go on most flops.

I'd either fold or raise first.

I probably fold now, OOP with a weak holding. FWIW, if I were in position I would probably call.
