401(k) rollover, should I do Roth Conversion?
I rolled over my 401(k) from my former job to a rollover IRA. Should I convert it to a Roth IRA? I will not make any further contributions to this account. I read in the literature that I should if I think my tax bracket will be higher at retirement, but I don't think it matters since I won't be contributing anymore to it. I would rather pay the tax this year and be done with the taxes rather than wait 40 years and pay the tax. I am 26. Am I missing something?
