live HORSEament, Stud/8 short-stacked hand (STTF x-post)

Live HORSEament final table. 8 players remain. 4 spots pay 130/180/280/490. I think everything is correct here, but there's only so much information I can absorb and retain for 12 hours, so bear with me. Tournament forum posters don't know 7-card Stud from Caribbean Stud so I'm hoping for some help here.

Before the flaming starts, I want to point out that I have barely more than one big bet left and can get almost all-in on 4th street. My opponents' implied odds won't be as good as they typically are because I'll never get stuck paying off the big streets with a marginal high against a freerolling made low. I'm pretty much 50/50 against typical 3-card low starting hands that might be at the table given what's showing, such as A26.

ICM prize pool equity calculator is a good way to estimate what different chip stack distributions are worth. In short, doubling is great for me, basically doubling my prize pool equity when the dead chips are included, but playing the pot greater than heads-up is of negative marginal benefit.

Am I correct in thinking this looks like a good spot to get all my chips in with great pot odds and a decent hot-and-cold hand?

A PP with a suited overcard, that matchs the board high card. Yes you sre correct, it doesn't get much better.

With a healthy chip stack, I'd fold this. In this case, you have no choice but to raise.

I usually buy in for 25 BB. I count about 25 BB on the whole table. Nice structure.

The structure wasn't too bad, actually. 15 minute levels and we're in the 3rd Stud/8 round. Check out the awesome mid-hand structure change ruling.

Slim - I assume this is the Sam's town tourny, am I right? How did you do? How many tables? I wanted to play this last weekend but I was sick.

Sam's Town 2pm $100+20 Sunday HORSE, 2 tables, 11 players, paid top 4. I went out 8th on this hand, my wife (unit63) had gone out 9th. Tyler_cracker took 2nd for $280. An otherwise-solid player busted 3rd after randomly deciding to play Stud in the middle of the Razz round.

Beat: I no longer live 1/2-mile away from Sam's Town.

11 players isnt too hot. When I played (and won 1st place) the field was 16 players - two tables of 8.
