x/180 FT thread for Feb 21st

Tourney 43587121 - a $4/180. I'm 5/8 going in... Come say hi...

(Should be at a 2nd FT, but finished 10th in another one... 'cause I'm an idiot...)

5th.

Sucked out a queen on the river to get up to 3rd, next hand I lost with JJ against AK, AIPF. I played it really poorly - shouldn't have pushed with the jacks, I don't think... Should have called his raise and then folded on the flop when the ace came...

That dropped me down to shortie status - managed to climb up the pay run by two spots before getting it all in on my BB...

Next time...

Good job Tory.

I finally ended my run of 34 straight 4/180s without a cash by finishing in 17th in one after getting sucked out again.

On my 32nd tourney, I finished in 38th. During the course of that tourney, I lost with these hands all in preflop: AA<A4, AA<JJ, KK<A2, KK<A9.

The one I did finish in 17th, I was crippled just before the money when the big stack raised preflop and I cold called with JJs. Flop was all spades with a King. Turn blank and river was the Qs. I raised turn and he called and raised river. I call fully expecting him to have the nuts, and he doesn't disappoint showing the As2 against my JsJc. I manage to build back up a bit until I get dealt QQ UTG. Go all in for 6500 and get called instantly by 1010. 10 on the turn was all she wrote for me.

I swear my winning % yesterday with the big three pairs was 30%. Couldn't get them to hold for the life of me.

What do people think? I would hide results, but I already gave it away...

My gut says I should have called the raise, then folded the flop. But on the previous hand I almost doubled up when AQ>99 and I basically played the rush...
