KK mission aborted...1st post!

I've been lurking around MSNL for awhile now...thanks for good discussions prior.

I'm not sure if or when I went wrong on this hand. Button is solid, somewhat laggy. We had both trapped each other for a big pot so far this session. I have been fairly active so I'm not sure if the button respects my 3 bet.

I'm guessing his range here is AhA, AhK, QQ, JJ, maybe a lesser chance of ThT or AhJ. Alternately I could have bet 2/3 - 3/4 pot on the turn, potentially folding QQ and preventing AhK from bluffing the river. Any ideas?

You have to have a pretty awesome read to fold here.

Raise more preflop, terrible river fold as played.

OK, I should have bet the turn...what does a reasonable player have on the turn that I beat besides QQ or AhK?

I'm not sure if the button is capable of calling the flop with the intention of stealing later, but its possible.

Re: KK mission aborted...1st post!

i don't think it's a bad laydown, as played

wtf do you guys think he has?

I think he's probably shoving over the flop bet with the nut draw most of the time, and with that turn card, JJ makes a lot of sense, too

I like it as played, c/r'ing all in on the turn if he bets. I'm happy that I induced that river bet and definitely calling.

Were you planning on pushing any turn bet, and villain's check on turn made you suspicious of a made hand?
