hold\'em to horse
I have been playing NL Hold'em but want to advance to playing Horse basically because i like the idea of playing multiple disciplines and i want to expand my poker knowledge. I was looking for books which covers both Stud and Omaha and i saw these listed ;
High/Low Split Poker - Ray Zee 7 Card Stud For Advanced Players - Sklansky etc. Would these be a good sarting point ? would the Skanlsky one be too advanced for starting out with ? Thanks in advance for any advice. |
Re: hold\'em to horse
It depends what stakes you are playing. If you are more of a beginner I would say pick up SS2 because it has 3 of the games involved. SS1 has a section on stud by Chip Reese, and i'm not sure about Razz but I think Sklansky on Poker has a section. Don't forget that there are stud and omahaforums here.

Thanks for the replies folks, think i'll make those my next purchases then. Thought about picking up SS in the past but never got round to it, will have a flick through it next time i'm at the bookstore.
