3-handed PLO 10/20 @Party

Villain in this hand is preflop playing normal loose 3-handed style, so his raise from button is almost any4. Post flop he is aggressive with his draws as well as his made hands. He will make the continuation bet almost always.

In this particular hand I have easy call preflop (I guess everyone agrees on this) and on a flop I have a pair, gutshot and a small flush draw so I go for cr to make him lay down most of his hands. So after he re-pops me I know he has some kind of a hand/good draw.

I think he has seen me cr a set. I have seen him make these moves w top two + draw, wrap w/o flush draw, flush draw w pair and all sets.

So my question is, could I have folded to his big raise after I have already committed 27% of my stack in to the pot.

Why would you fold - you won.

Also, this is why Omaha has "high variance". Tho you probably know that.

Well that was the kind of an answer I was looking for. Thank you for telling me about variance in Omaha.

Thank you!

Looks like you got very lucky here. Yes, you can fold after putting 27% in, but you obviously were in a gambling mood because you had to know you were an underdog. AA with nut flush seems like a holding he probably has. Or a set. You have a decent (although not great) hand. Its tough to fold when theres 1700 in the middle and you have 2200 left to call and possibly win 6100. I know I hate folding when I put that much in the pot. I'd like your hand a lot more if you had open ended straight instead of a gutshot.

Looks totally standard to me in an aggresive SH game though I prefer to have a few more nut outs before i checkraise and commit myself but against an opponent that CB like 100% and raise any four in positin you have to go with the cards that you are actually dealt. I would never fold here after putting in 27% of my stack.

I actually would lean toward a fold here. You're either a small money favorite or a big dog against a bigger flush draw.

However, calling some of the time couldn't be bad here.
