How profitable is a free card play
 

Assume:
1) I have TPTK and I decide that I'm showing a hand down.
2) My opponent has an OESD and we'll say that he has no other equity for some reason...

I bet, I think we can make him raising for a free card play worth 0.15bb roughly.

I came to this figure by saying that I had 2/3 equity on the flop, and he put in an extra bet there: +1/3SB for me.

He will lose 1bb when he hits, also: +1/3 BB for me.

But he will avoid getting bet into on the turn: +0.30BB for him assuming I have 80% equity at that point.

Does this seem about right? Can we entirely ignore the pot size when making this determination?

Does it matter? In your scenario, why are we not 3-betting? He will call the 3-bet if on a draw, and have us lead out on the turn, thus charging the draw the maximum.

If we 3-bet and its capped, we are likely to check the turn thus making the free-card play successful, but he pays that extra BB anyways. If he does cap the turn, TPTK is likely to be not good and I am ready to c/f turn and b/f river.
