DC 2p2 Happy Hour?
 

This is all preliminary, but I just wanted to post this here to gauge interest of anyone for possibly having a 2p2 DC Happy Hour sometime in the next couple weeks. I know there is a good amount of people within OOT from the DC area. I just want to know if it'd be worth setting up.

Anyways, I figured it would probably have to be in a central location. Someplace like Dupont or Chinatown would both work as they are right in the middle of the city, and they also have a wide variety of bars to choose from.

We could also choose to go somewhere with less volume as they would be more inclined to negotiate better drink specials with the promise of a certain number of people attending.

I don't mind setting all of this up if there is interest. So anyone in DC - post here or PM me and let me know if you'd be down for this.

i'd be down for it, i think the central idea is pretty good for a lot of people who work in DC, but live outside it...

Good idea. Buffalo Billiards worked well last time. DMBFan, you're required to show and pickup a couple girls again.

I might be able to make it. Im in Fairfax, so there is a good chance Ill just be lazy and say screw driving downtown. But let me know..

Excellent. I like the idea of Buffalo Billards too as there is a lot to do, metro accessible, girls, drinks, etc. I was thinking mid-week next week, either Tuesday or Thursday around 7:00 pm.

Danvh - I work in fairfax also near fair oaks mall. Maybe we can carpool. Typically I prefer to metro into happyhours though, as I usually can't drive on the way out.

Lucky bar has some cheap beers on Thursday, but the place is always packed.

As asofel said, Buffalo Billiards is a good big place and is directly across from the metro stop.

If you want to do Chinatown, Fado, RFD, etc are good.

Anywhere close to the metro is gravy. Next tues/thursday is gravy. Chinatown is gravy, though I'd like to Submit my vote for Saint Ex on U Street, because it's never that packed and it is gravy. Somebody find Shajen...

Ok, this sounds good. I'll check around for kick-ass specials today and post something up either later today or tomorrow with a choice of 2 or 3 places we can pick from. Can we settle on doing Tuesday night at 7:00 pm? I just realized I have PT on Thursday.
