77 UTG. Come out on a limb with me.
I'm playing 4/8 waiting for the pink game at the Trop. I'm new, and have only played an orbit. No one is crazy loose, passive, or aggressive, but I did see the PFR in this hand fold on the turn to a bet after raising PF a few hands ago. Let's see how big a donkey I can be.
I have black 77 UTG. I limp, one person limps behind me, button raises, BB calls, I curse, mutter to myself, and call, as does the limper (without the explitives, mind you. Flop: A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] BB checks. I lead out... |
Re: 77 UTG. Come out on a limb with me.
Since you ve only played one orbit you should just fold it. I dont start limping early unless I feel like the table is really loose. On the flop its an easy bet/fold to a raise.

Re: 77 UTG. Come out on a limb with me.
unless my table image is complete rockish (which sometimes is the case) i just check fold this. if it is complete rockish i might lead out. if i get called i'm prob done with it.

Uh, check-fold flop?

Re: 77 UTG. Come out on a limb with me.
The table was really loose, and this limp is completely standard for me (as is any PP in this game.)
I stand by my limp. I'm not ashamed of it. I care about the flop. |
Re: 77 UTG. Come out on a limb with me.
I bet the flop. If raised, you have two backdoor draws plus image concerns, so I would call and fold the turn UI.

Re: 77 UTG. Come out on a limb with me.
folding 77 UTG in 4/8 limit at the trop = really weak/tight/bad/awful

Re: 77 UTG. Come out on a limb with me.
It's borderline between a bet/fold and a check/fold.

Re: 77 UTG. Come out on a limb with me.
why not limp re-raise?
I dont know, just an idea -J |
Re: 77 UTG. Come out on a limb with me.
If you are continuing on with this flop, seems like a c/r is the way to go.
