grinder thread?
 

someone told me there was a thread about one of mizrachi's friends getting banned from bellagio for marking cards. it seems to have been deleted and not moved here. just curious if anyone has an explanation

I can confirm the threads existence in NVG. There was some complaining that the thread was slandarous because it implied that Grinder was in on the cheating. Dunno what happenedd to it.

Savage asked me to delete it. So I did. I thought most of the beef with Savage was pretty stupid, but since he asked I did.

is that a reasonable request? to me this seems like a pretty big deal and should be on 2p2 somewhere. but i didn't even read that thread so i don't know

Josh,

The story was that a friend of Grinder's was marking cards with invisable ink and wearing glasses that allowed him to see them. He was apparently exposed and tossed. Nothing to do with anything online, or with the Grinder specifically.

I'd like to suggest we move all controversial threads here before deleting them in future, if a lock in place is not appropriate.

Frankly- it wasn't controversial at all. It was some nothing gossip about somebody nobody has heard of. People objected to it because Savage named Grinder in the title but the actual content had nothing to do with the Grinder. I deleted it because I thought it was inconsequential, misleading, and the OP wanted it deleted 'cause he thought he'd made a mistake.
