\'Rumor\' of possible Microgaming / USA pullout

This is exactly as stated - just a rumor.

But, with the majority of past pullouts, our player funds have been anything but liquid.

Link to Perspectives Weekly - January 26th, 2007. The mention of the Microgaming Systems pullout is near the end of the show, the last minute or so.

I do not even dare to speculate how this would affect Prima.

There is also a small thread on this topic at CM, in the Casino Industry Discussion forum.

I thought they pulled out a long time ago! What prima site still caters to US?

Prima only blocks US players from states where online gambling is illegal (like Washington, Indiana, South Dakota, and others). I think people from other states can still play there.

It's actually left up to skins. Some are staying some have left.

BetOnBet has banned all US players, meanwhile Intertops is accepting ALL US players

I think the Royal Vegas skin in merging into Poker Host -- and since it is US-facing, that may be the origin of the rumor.

Re: \'Rumor\' of possible Microgaming / USA pullout

This post was primarily directed to Microgaming casino players. I originally posted it in the wrong forum, Internet Bonuses, but where the information would have the maximum impact on possibly affected users. [casino bonus hunters]

I personally have not played a hand of poker at a Prima site since approx. 2003. When, The Gaming Club was the first I-gaming site, to request document copies from me, on cashout.

With very few exceptions, Microgaming casinoes are the only reputable casinoes left accepting US clients. These customers are the ones that could possibly use the information in this 'rumor' to their bankrolls benefit. To complete any unmet needed WR left on bonuses. Or request a cashout through a method of user convenience, rather than, operator convenience after a 'possible' US pullout. Or instead of waiting for a check mailed snail mail, at the operators convenience.

Past US pullouts have been made with the operators best interests put ahead of the customers they are no longer going to be serving.

Thank you for contacting Battle Field Poker.

I am sorry but I have not heard any information that Microgaming will be doing this. Management will keep all players informed about any changes that will be made due to the new US anti gaming bill.

Please do not hesitate in contacting us if you have any further questions or comments.

Fwiw, I signed up at Golden Riviera this week because they are offering a no-deposit $10 cash deal.

Shortly after I signed up I recieved an e-mail telling me that US residents are not eligible for the free $10

I was allowed to play and deposit there but just not eligible for the free $10

My guess is they're leaving sooner rather than later.

Royal Vegas: "We have received no such information from MicroGaming Poker."

Any word on Microgaming using a new payment system for US players? They have some great sites. It would be cool if we could use EPassporte or something like that for the Jackpot Factory or River Belle.
