Re: pokerstove download
I am having the same trouble with pokerstove.com, I am not sure what happened to it. My copy would no longer work. I uninstalled it, then went here: http://shareware.pcmag.com/product.downl...mp;SiteID=pcmag
and downloaded version 1.21 again, and it seems to work fine so far. Cheers |

Re: pokerstove download
what's a mirror? appreciated nonetheless.
also, that first link provided enabled me to download, but the monte carlo doesn't seem to work.. the enumerate all does work, so i'm happy. |
Re: pokerstove download
Not sure why Monte Carlo didn't work off for you off that link. But I downloaded and reinstalled off the mirror site and it worked fine. (As a new poster, always happy to help out a "pooh-bah" - hopefully a reasonable first impression. lol)
Here is the definition of a mirror from Wiki: "A mirror in computing is a direct copy of a data set. On the Internet, a mirror site is an exact copy of another Internet site. Mirror sites are most commonly used to provide multiple sources of the same information, and are of particular value as a way of providing reliable access to large downloads. Mirroring is a one-way operation whereas file synchronization is two-way." It's just a second source for downloadable files, it can speed things up if the original source has heavy traffic. But the mystery remains about what happened to Pokerstove - and no one I know seems to have the answer. Cheers |
