KK OOP Tough River decision ($200)

Villian was 40/20 over just 100 hands. I had just played a few orbits with him, other than being a little loose, I hadn't seen him do anything too nuts.

What to do on the river? Anyone else play the turn differently?

I bet more on flop. As played, I think I c/c river. If he has missed diamonds or something like that, this is the type of guy that will usually bluff the river. Check and let him try to push you off your hand. Sucks if he has 89 or JT though.

Bet more on the flop 3/4 to pot size to give draws worse odds.

Bet more on the flop 3/4 to pot size as that card was a complete blank imo, for same reasons above.

I cant read the river action but Im going to check call if he has called the turn bet, unless a great card comes Im value betting the mother lover

I agree with this. I would definitely check the river.

I agree, but I want to play devilīs advocate and make a case for a value bet. Are there any hands that would call here that we beat?

17*.75=12.75

41*.75=30.75

And call up to how much?

Well, if we are checking here to let him bluff or bet a worse hand, I would call anything because he has just over a PSB remaining.
