Another Money Question...
 
Alrght.. Im having a problem in dealing with the loss of poker guys.. yes i know its gonna happen.. and its gonna or could happen a lot.. but im having a hard time dealing with small losses.. they totally do not affect me financially at all.. but im soo competetive.. i haaaate losing.. i tried dropping down in limits and that helped a lil bit.. but it seems i can't crack the higher limits... you guys dont have to reply.. im just venting..

moving up in limits is like getting vaccinated with a needle. You get all nervous and it strings the first few times, but then you get used to it and treat any lower game like it's for pennies.

The key is to run good when you move up, because if you run bad, you'll doubt whether you can beat the higher games.

If this truly affects you, running poorly in the first 2k hands of a higher limit may stunt your progression by a month.

I get more upset when I run bad playing any game other than my regular game. My livelihood is NL400 and NL600, but I'm more likely to steam playing $1/$2 stud or mariokart.

Just take little shots, and continually reassess.

Just also remember, you are definately going to get slaughtered in some game. It may be when the bb is $.5, or $1, or $5, or $50 or $ 600. Just find out you are not good enough, then drop down to where you are goot enough!
