AAKTds oop, semi-good flop

$5/10 PLO 6-max. Villain has been potting it preflop nearly every hand for a couple of rounds. Post-flop, I have not seen him c/r, and when he has gone to showdown, his hands have been fairly random (bad) starting hands that connected with one or two pair on the flop. All bets have been pot sized, before and after the flop.

The rest of the table have loosened up with a lot of limp/calls preflop, but so far no limp/raises.

SB (500)
BB (500)
Hero (1100)
Villain (2000)
LP (2000)
BTN (1000)

Hero dealt AxAyKxTy
Hero limps, Villain raises pot ($45 total), LP calls, BTN calls, SB calls, BB folds, Hero raises pot ($280 total), Villain calls, everyone else folds.

Flop: Tx 8y 2x (pot size $705)

Any thoughts on how to proceed? Or comments on the preflop play? Thanks.

Super simple hand. You've got aces with the NFD, pot it. Your hand's not strong enough that you want to encourage action, but you're never ever folding here.

I used to wonder how people could fool themselves into thinking they had an interesting hand, when it was clear from reading it that it was simple and straight forward, but no doubt it sucked for them when they lost.

Now I know.

I did pot it, he raised me the last little bit that I had, I called, and I lost. It put me on the kind of tilt I thought was semi-fictional, like I've never whitnessed, much less experienced before. And 30 minutes later, my entire bankroll was gone.

I wonder what I'll do with my time now that poker is not an option? Step one, stop dreaming up schemes for making fast money so I can keep playing poker. Step two...

If Villain has been re-raising preflop then raise instead of limp-RR. Flop is standard bet-push.

He had been taking it to $35 - $55 (depending on how many limped ahead of him), but in his burst of constant preflop raises, he had not been re-raising.

But even if I thought he would re-raise me, I would still prefer to c/r. That way I get most of the table calling his $45 raise and building up a nice pot for me to re-raise. If I raise and he re-raises, it's approximately $150 to go, everyone else folds, I reraise him, he probably calls, and we're in a similar situation, but with no dead money juicing the pot.

How many buy ins did you drop? For some reason I seem to only tilt while multitabling Omaha. About 4 months ago I tilted off about 50% of my $2400 bankroll at 200PL (rest was mainly due to variance and refusal to drop down in limits despite being under rolled). Starting last week, I almost did it again at 100PL, although about 25% was probably due to tilt. Ran it down to $450 from 2k, dropped down, and now im back up to about 950. Crazy game. Im positive if I didnt drop down I would have lost it all again.

Dropping limits is underrated.

If this is all it takes to put you on monkey-tilt, then not only shouldn't you be playing PLO, you probably shouldn't be gambling at all.
