Proper Sizing of PF Reraise

Table was fairly loose preflop but no specific reads as early in session. Thought raising it from 50 cents to $2 seemed "right" to perhaps get a caller but no more than one. This worked basically as the only caller was the earlier raiser, but this left him with $1 behind, which was less than ideal. Maybe pushing would have made more sense (although this may be results-oriented since he called with K10[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] so he had fd and oesd on the flop?! How do you guys generally determine the "correct" amount to rr pf? Thank you...

Disagree. You should have raised enough to put this guy all in. If anyone is calling $2 preflop, they are calling $3 - and thats a good thing because an oversize raise gets even more money in when you have da nutzzz yo.

Yeah, this raise would be an okay size if villain wasn't so short. As is, get it in with him. In general I like to reraise to around 300% of the pot. So here the pot was 0.65, so $2 is good (but again, since he only would have $1 behind after, just get him in now).
