Re: Check or bet ?
Thin either way. Make the river a 4c and I fire no problem.

Re: Check or bet ?
Raise PF, bet the flop. As played easy river value bet, although I might not raise the turn.

Re: Check or bet ?
You should raise preflop.
Bet any (90%) non raised flop in a SB-BB battle when checked to in BB. So bet this one also. Raising the turn is strong here, I like it. I wouldn't have done it myself but I think it's better than calling, since a K and JT would have probably bet the flop. Betting the river is a must since nothing really changed with that card. |

Re: Check or bet ?
Raise preflop, planning to bet the flop no matter what.
As played, bet the flop. As played, the turn is okay. I might just call because villain will often fold to your raise but might be inclined to fire again on the river if you just call. Bet the river. |
Re: Check or bet ?
I raise this preflop. I raise alot of opencompleters preflop for metagame reasons. This hand is definately strong enough to raise for equity. Against some opponents I guess checking behind planning to bet or raise a lot of flops is also good.
The way you played it I bet any flop when checked to (until I meet an opponent bright enough to pick up on it). After villain checking preflop and flop I'm pretty sure I have the best hand, but I'm not sure I would raise the turn. In this little pot the turn raise is so strong he might fold hands he could have bet again on river. Against thinking opponents I like raising turn more, to set up for turnbluffs later. After he calls your turnraise I think he's going to showdown with a lot of worse hands, so IMO it's an easy value bet. EDIT: After reading the answers I guess my post is just "repeat jrz" |
Re: Check or bet ?
i raise preflop (and would cont bet the flop). I might even stab the flop as you played it. nice turn play after checking through, and I would definitely bet the river.
