at what price would you sell your $8000 value parlay card??????

you have hit 5 of 7 and have an offer to sell your $100 parlay card paying 80 to 1. since your parlay card pays 80 to 1 and your "man" offers to buy the parlay off of you with the two remaining games on jan 1 - what would you sell it for??????????/

keeping in mind you have the money to hedge the games

More than its EV.

as always, it depends on how much you need the money.

if it's one of many cashes, keep it, and if you REALLY need to hedge, do it yourself, but shade it a little...

if $4,000 is a mountain of money to you (which doesn't seem to be the case, betting $100 on a 7 team parlay), take that.

good situation to be in.

Umm... Assuming he's 50% to hit the other two legs... His card is worth 2k.

A few questions come to mind:

What's the likelihood of the final 2 games coming through?

How badly do you need/want the money?

Who is this "man" and do you owe him any favours? Why not hedge this yourself?

Exactly. Sell for more than 2k assuming the lines haven't changed since you made the bets. Then kill yourself for not just taking a 5-teamer to begin with.

Yep, and if you bought the ticket on Paradise Poker's sports book, TAKE THE MONEY

Cause they might cancel it like they did with my Troy Smith to win the Heisman bet at 15-1.

A bird in the hand....

Sorry, still ticked about that one.

Please leave. I know I'm rude to everyone. But I'm serious with this one.

Totally depends on what you will do with the money if you take the money before the games go off.

You can turn it more plus EV by taking the money early if you do it right.
