Re: What sites for news and commentary?
I used to be a fan of 411wrestling (under some other name that is not coming to mind right now) before it became part of 411mania. It was much better as a stand alone wrestling site. Also, during the heyday of the WWF-WCW wars, they had some fantastic and hilarious writers on staff. Most of them appear to have stopped or gone elsewhere.

Re: What sites for news and commentary?
This guy in particular is [censored] hilarious. Unfortunately he stopped in '02 it appears, but some of his old PPV stuff is worth a read. He used to write for the site I can't remember the name of, but archived all his stuff on this site...

Wow, I had forgotten that a real media company had at one time dedicated webspace to wrestling. Oh how the mighty have fallen. I don't think it's ever going to get near there again without a serious competition. WWE doesn't seem compelled to even try anymore. I don't know if TNA will ever get big enough to make a dent though. |
