Quest for NOVA, 53k points in 20 days

On my quest for nova guys, I got 20 total available days of work left, I have completed 13k points so far in 3 days this month.

This is going to be much more difficult than I anticipated. The sheer emotional draining that occurrs from suffering over 300 2 outers on a dails basis. The physical damage to my index finger from non stop clicking. The number of idiots who sit down at the table and sit out for 3 rounds and leave.

Here is some stats. I have played 8 tables of 5 10 for about 3-5 hours each of those 3 days. I am down 83 dollars. I have accumulated 13k base points and around 30k regular points for platinum level.

Oh please someone tell me why I am doing this, when I can make much more in the live 40 80 game at commerce and pay much less rake.

Or play on any other site that already offers rakeback ?

Did I get sucked into the hype of pokerstars ?>

Am I a victim of the moneymaker curse ?

3-5 Hours? Weak Sauce! Now quit posting, quit thinking, shut up, & play poker.

Trying to pull that off is setting yourself up for a repetitive stress injury (like carpal tunnel).

any reason why you can't sit at 1 table and figure this out for yourself?

After 10 minutes of play you should have a decent approximation.
Seriously, the number of FPP's I earn every 10 minutes seems to stay pretty consistent.
After an hour you'll be even more accurate.

Why are there so many people asking how many FPP's does one accumulate at such-and-such stakes when all you have to do is sit at the table yourself?

If you are seriously thinking of grinding it out at a given level I would think you would want to investigate the quality of the game anyway.

online-pro, good luck. I have only 19k to go and definitely do not envy you.

Of course, you could have just given up awhile ago and decided you would go for it AFTER Jan 1.
You do realize that you still have to earn 10kVPP/mth just to maintain the SN status in 2007 (until you get 100k again), right?

A bit better than that. You have one "vacation" month.
