£ vs $

I live in the UK, and obviously have my bankroll in $. The $ just seems to be dropping and dropping against the £. I will be withdrawing a large amount of money from my bankroll within the next few months, but I was wondering if it is better to withdraw now to guard against further slide by the $, or wait and see if it recovers from its current low. Does anyone have any advice on the best course of action?

this has been discussed in depth on other threads, i cant be bothered to search tbh. basically its likely to hit 2:1, but from then on who knows.

what im wondering is how the [censored] did people not make a [censored] load from this via futures (from my limited knowledge im guessing its x-rate futures), given over summer people were always talking about how it would head to 2:1. but then i guess i lot of people probably have.

The dollar is doomed. It will bounce around for a while, but I expect another 30-40% decline for the US Dollar Index. Sell your dollars.

I advocate buying precious metals, i.e. gold and silver related assets. That includes bullion and shares. I don't invest in the majors, only the junior exploration stocks. They are more risky, but offer the most potential. Actually, I wouldn't call buying shares of a junior exploration stock investing, I would call it gambling.

My favorite silver junior exploration stock is Great Panther (GPR.TO/GPRLF.PK). These stocks are extremely volatile, so play at your own risk.

take some money out and buy an ETF that captures the falling dollar (you can even get this x 2).

FDPIX
RYWBX

Or Gold:

GLD
IAU
