you are not allowed without a good reason...such as someone is harrassing you at the table or you are afraid your account is getting hacked.

Or your name is David Benyamine seems like he plays under about 4 names and changes his name everyweek I mentioned that to cs and they said someone would contact me because some of the high limit players have changed. I never heard from any one about it. but I thought that it was funny, right after they just told me NOBODY gets a name change they admit that some people do just not me.
