Re: The \"Real Republican Majority\" Ad

Considering that Lincoln, Roosevelt and Reagan are some of the most quintessential figures in government expansion, anti-business regulations, and irresponsible spending (respectively), you'd have to be an idiot to think that this is what the Republican party stands for.

Luckily for the Republican party, most Republicans are.

Re: The \"Real Republican Majority\" Ad

It's almost a spoof of itself. Santorum/Robertson/Haggerd BAAAAAD. Lincoln, Roosevelt, Reagan GOOOOD. Because they promote: "tolerance, limited government intrusion, and sound fiscal policy." Not to say I don't agree with some of their decisions, but:

Lincoln: Famously forced a group states to remain with the union. (tolerance)
Roosevelt: The bain of corporations. (limited gov. intrusion)
Reagan: The man who made Federal deficits cool again. (sound fiscal policy)

Wait...are you saying that government expansion and irresponsible spending aren't what the republican party stands for?
