I'm curious. Please post:

1 - What you do and how long have you done it.
2 - If you like it
3 - If you plan to continue doing it
4 - If not, then what?

1 - I'm a CPA and I work in internal audit of a large public company in Sarbanes-Oxley corporate governance compliance. Yes, I am hated within my Company and yes it blows. 9 years
2 - no
3 - hopefully not
4 - get out of accounting altogether in the next 5 years and somehow start my own bid-ness

NOTE: Yes, this is an OOTesque thread, no please do not move it to OOT because I want to hear from da BBV crew.

1. Computer Programmer/ One year in january
2. It's alright, not busy enough though
3. Probably
4. Maybe go back to college, try get an MBA

1 - gamble on internet poker sites for 2 years.
2 - i dont like it.
3 - i dont plan to continue doing it.
4 - want to be an art dealer or own a pub.

2. Yes and no. Mainly yes.
3. The hours are great so I can do this, play poker, and still have time to go to school, so yeah.
4. Build a race car! Or find a new job or school full time.

-Public opinion research consultant on the Canadian equivalent to Wall Street
2 - If you like it
-yes, v. interesting and challenging although hours are long
3 - If you plan to continue doing it
-probably for two years, then go back to school in either a) business, b) public policy or c) music
-I'm on track to 200k in pretax poker earnings from playing parttime this year though so I have some tough decisions to make
4 - If not, then what?
-who knows, only 22 and the sky is the limit

I've worked at a consulting engineering firm for the past year or so. It sucks. I plan on pulling an NT! and quit fairly soon (I'm already slacking off).

man, that's impressive. 3 years from now i'll probably probably be sitting at my computer in my underwear jobless instead of married and making like 500k/year or whatever you get with job+poker.
