1) games that are most popular(NLHE)
2) games that have no or few books availabale(triple draw, razz, royal holdem etc.

EDIT: To add something constructive to this thread, I'd say 3, specifically "games new to the current locale". See the first couple weeks Pokerstars was spreading HORSE, or their current TD27 games.
