WPT satellites
 

How do the WPT sit and go satellites work? Do they pay in buy-in chips like the WSOP or cash or what?

Is it worth playing them hoping to walk away with some cash if you have no intention of playing in the WPT events?

It seems to be different with every casino. WPT just films the final table, it's up to the casino to run the event, and the satellites to the event.

So the answer is probably yes and no. Call the hosting casino to the event you want to attend and I'm sure they would have a good answer for you.

Of the WPT events I have played at (Legends of P,LA PC, MIRAGE SD,WPT Ch.), you received buy-in chips for events, of which, I had no problem unloading. Actually, I had more fun selling the chips to some of the characters than actually winning the chips themselves.

Thanks. I've always had trouble selling those. I have to give a discount to find any takers.
